Tea lovers, I hope you’re excited for this mini recipe of this tea latte. I love the variation of drinks we can play around with that involves tea. As a tea lover, I’m all over any tea lattes. It’s the perfect treat for a lazy afternoon or evening. It’s more than the regular tea that will make you feel extra special and a little pampered. We deserve some pampering, don’t we? I love to spoil my friends with lattes and extra special drinks.
If rose tea is a new concept for you, then you’re in for a surprise. When it comes to rose petals, I’m a big fan, and I won’t only use them in teas and desserts, but also my daily skincare regimen involves rose oils, and rose cleansers. Rose petals are a delight for inner health and outer beauty.
The making of this latte couldn’t be any simpler. You steep the tea, and then foam up the milk, along with the maple syrup and the cardamom. Cardamom is a perfect match for the rose tea. For some, the rose tea is too floral, and that also depends on the type of tea or dried rose petals you use, and how much you let them infuse the water. If the 7 minutes that I added to my latte recipe is too much for you, reduce to 5 minutes. It’s totally up to you. In my opinion, 7 minutes is what you need to get a fragrant rose tea latte.
The cardamom powder cuts down a bit on the sweetness and brings in spicy cinnamony, and a bit peppery notes. It creates the right balance that’ll give you an enjoyable experience of drinking a floral tea latte.
All right! I’m not going to make you wait any longer, so I’ll let you dive into the simple recipe right below.
